Hey, that’s great, Larry, but what does that have to do with story writing, you ask? With stories, Logan and Mindy are my plug-ins. The difference is, with music I still have to play the guitar, bass, or keyboard part. With stories, I don’t have to. Logan and Mindy play their parts, and I take dictation.
William Faulkner once said, “It begins with a character, usually, and once he stands up on his feet and begins to move, all I can do is trot along behind him with a paper and pencil trying to keep up long enough to put down what he says and does.”
Hmm. I’m beginning to wonder… maybe I’M the plug-in here!
